A Missions Trip to Mexico

I had a very special trip with my daughters and a great group of friends to Zamora, Mexico. We stayed for a week and helped Pastor Omar paint and repair the home church. We also got to spend time with his wonderful family. Pastor Omar told us we were the most boisterous group he had ever welcomed into his home, and while we had a lot of fun, we also worked hard and got more accomplished than we had initially planned, which left some time for adventure and sightseeing. We attended church with Omar’s family and heard great messages from him and Matt and Tyler, two of the guys in our group. The trip was full of fun, adventure, friendship, and a deeper appreciation for how God works worldwide. Oh, and some really good food; I think we all gained weight from the excellent cooking!
