“To me you are perfect.” – Love Actually
Marc and Sarah got married on a perfect May day in downtown Lancaster. Family friends are some of my favorite people to photograph. I met Sarah and her family over a decade ago. I was the photographer her brother’s wedding, held her nieces when they were babies, went swimming at her parents house, had BBQs together. Since I know a family intimately I look for close human connection, I know the players, I’m constantly watching for interactions between fathers and sons, grandparents and children, fathers and daughters, mothers and babies. Seeing the love that a family has for each other and documenting that is what I love about photographing weddings.
