Point & Shoot Workshop

You don’t take photos because you only have a point and shoot. Or you think you need to invest several hundred dollars in a DSRL because you never get a quality shot, you are wrong. Julia Child wasn’t a great cook because she had a great kitchen, learning how to use your equipment is the first step in getting quality photos. *

Composition Workshop

If you are still asking about why don’t my photos ever look nice? Composition is what separates the men from the boys, so to speak. You don’t like the photos you are snapping, learn about composition. Learn how to make your photographs visually appealing. You can use any type of camera for this workshop, everything from your iPhone to a $1000 DSRL.*

DSRL 101 Workshop

This is a basic class on DSLR cameras. In this class you will learn about how your eyes, brain, and lights work, as well as getting to know your camera and the camera anatomy. This is a great class for someone who has recently purchased a DSRL and isn’t completely sure how to even take it out of the box. We will go over the basics. From how to hold your camera to transferring your images to your computer. *

Taking your Camera off Auto Workshop

If you are still using your DSLR on the green auto mode setting this is a class for you. Think about it, would you buy a sports car and never take it out of first gear? If you are using your DSRL as a glorified point and shoot this is the class for you. A basic workshop that covers how to take your camera off Auto Mode and begin getting to know your camera and how to hold and control you camera. *

The Next Level DSRL Workshop

So you shoot mostly in the preset modes, but want to learn how to shoot in manual mode. What, when, and how do you use your flash? When should you break out a tripod? Learn more about your light meter and exposure controls.

Post-Production Workshop   

This class is about managing your images and starting post-production. Additionally we will learn about the order of edits and making your first adjustments. You will learn how to correct tone as well as color. For this class you need a transportable computer as well as Adobe Photoshop editing software. *

*Each workshop is approximately four hours and costs $30 per person.

Host a class of 5 or more people and your fee will be waived; class size is limited to a maximum of 10 students to keep instruction personalized.


Individualized Lessons

You are looking to take your photography to the next level? If you prefer a little bit of information at a time. An individualized lesson may be the right fit for you. This experience offers you one hour sessions that are personalized to your skill level. **

Kids & Photography

You have a child interested in photography. How do you help them expand their skills? Or, you need an art class for your home schooled child(ren). We can come up with a curriculum designed for your budget and schedule. All current Pennsylvania required Child Abuse Clearance available upon request. **

**Individualized lessons are available at a rate of $15 for a single one hour lesson.

All classes include printed material for you to take home and in the field hands on training.
